Luis Eduardo Guerrero

Luis Eduardo Guerrero was born in México and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, where he graduated top of his class from PSJA Southwest Early College High School. He then went on to attend Texas A&M University where he graduated in three years with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology,Petroleum Track. During his time at Texas A&M University, Luis was a member of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets, participated in the Smithsonian's Latino Center Young Ambassador program, and was involved in undergraduate research through the College of Geoscience.

Luis attended St. Mary's University School of Law right after completing his undergraduate degree. During his time in law school he worked for Congressman Vicente Gonzalez, from District TX-15 in Washington, D.C., interned at the Bexar County Family Justice Center with Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid, helped reform and re-establish a vocational school in the Rio Grande Valley, and worked for a local personal injury law firm before working for The Gámez Law Firm.

Luis has a passion for helping others and picked this career path because of the direct impact it can provide to injured families. "I understand that every case is different and I strive to create a personal connection with every client I represent.," Luis said. "I know that an accident or death does not only affect the victims, but also those closest to them. I want to help our clients and their families get to a better place," Luis said.

Luis noted that he has a special connection with Gámez Law clients who are immigrants. "Being an immigrant myself, I understand their struggles," he explained. "As an immigrant climbing these mountains that I've faced, I want to throw a ladder back down to our clients to help them when they need it most."

In addition to practicing law in San Antonio, Luis continues to be very active with his community in Pharr and is always willing to help out in any way possible.
