Mr. Jorge Grajeda was born in Mexico and moved to San Antonio, Texas as a teen. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of the Incarnate Word, where he graduated cum laude. In college, Jorge studied abroad in Rome, Italy and received awards from the university’s College of Humanities for his excellence in academia and for his dedication to campus ministry. Jorge also served as a Student Ambassador, where he mentored and assisted incoming freshmen, and competed with the university’s Moot Court program for two years.
After college, Jorge completed his Doctor of Jurisprudence at the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In law school, he was involved in varying student organizations, acting as founder, president, and vice-president in several student clubs. Outside of school he always kept busy with internships, clerkships, and mentorships with judges and attorneys across the state. Through these opportunities, he earned a great amount of practical experience in estate planning and administration, elder law, immigration, workers’ compensation, and, particularly, personal injury.
Before joining Gamez Law Firm in early 2021, Jorge worked as an attorney at San Antonio firm where he focused in commercial litigation. He is a fervent advocate who takes special pride in representing clients who have been hurt. He knows his work can positively impact the lives of his clients and understands the hardships people go through when dealing with an injury. Jorge also knows insurance companies will give every excuse to avoid restitution, and this particularly gives him satisfaction in achieving results against them.
Jorge is fluent in Spanish and English. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, at church, in the outdoors, and watching sports.
