Anthony “Tony” Garza-Vale

Anthony "Tony" Garza-Vale is a San Antonio native who graduated from Central Catholic High School. He then graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in government and politics and a minor in history. After graduating from college, Tony worked in insurance and as a paralegal in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area before moving back to San Antonio to attend St. Mary's University School of Law.

In his second year of law school, Tony began interning at a local law firm that specialized in personal injury law. He then graduated from law school in 2010, passed the bar on his first try, and has been helping people who have lost loved ones or been injured by the careless conduct of others ever since.

"I get a great deal of satisfaction out of helping our clients who have been through a catastrophic experience," Tony said. "We fight for our clients who aren't able to fight for themselves. We are changing lives in positive ways."

Since joining Gamez Law Firm in 2019, Tony has secured approximately $25 million in settlements for his clients in wrongful death, personal injury and related cases. He has helped clients obtain multiple jury verdicts that were later recognized as Top 100 Verdicts in Texas across all civil practice areas. In 2018, he was nominated to the board of directors for the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association and has served on the board ever since. In 2018 and 2019, he was recognized as a Top 40 under 40 Lawyer in Texas for Civil Trial Law by The National Trial Lawyers.

Throughout his years in practice, Tony has seen how insurance companies make every excuse possible to not pay the fair value of a person's claim, making billions of dollars in profits while minimizing and cheapening people's losses. It gives Tony a lot of satisfaction to fight these corporations and to recover fair compensation for his clients.
